The coating is only as good as the preparation.

A good floor coating project begins by understanding the existing concrete. We review the slab, mechanically prepare the surface, address cracks and transitions where appropriate, and identify the coating system in the proposal before installation begins.

Real project · real preparation

Before the flakes, we build the bond.

The finished floor gets the attention. The grinding, cleaning, repairs and detail work underneath are what give the system a fair chance to perform.

Finish selection

Color, texture and use belong in one conversation.

Flake blend and texture affect more than appearance. We discuss how the floor will be used, cleaned and seen in the actual lighting, then identify the proposed coating build in writing.

Garage floor coating questions

Straight answers before the estimate.

Is every garage floor coating actually epoxy?

No. “Epoxy floor” is the phrase many homeowners use, but a complete system may use epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic or a combination of materials. The proposal should identify the exact system instead of relying on a generic label.

Can cracked or worn concrete still be coated?

Often, but the floor must be evaluated first. Stable cracks and surface wear may be repairable within the coating scope. Active movement, moisture or failing concrete may require a different plan, and repairs can remain visible.

How long until the floor can be used again?

Return-to-use timing depends on the coating system, temperature, humidity and how the space will be used. We provide the actual cure and traffic schedule for the selected system before work begins.

What should I send for an epoxy floor quote?

Send the project address, approximate dimensions, several photos, the floor's age if known, and any concerns about cracks, moisture, peeling coatings, oil or road-salt exposure.
